tough loss but hofstra earned it. theyre good and they use
their size. we gave koj extra minutes but it wasnt enough.

Didn’t play well overall. Our bigs guns: Goods, Andrej, and
Brown never showed up. Simmon was outstanding on both ends. Oleg
certainly over-achieved. All that said, a very gutty effort as a
team unit though. Turning point, imo, is when we had 3 point
lead in 2nd half, and Goods missed 4 FT’s in a row. Never
recovered from that.

Good effort by SBU with a lot of firepower missing for the game.
Just left too many points off the board in the second half with
poor shooting.
I don't know what the possible top seed is for them now, but
looks to me they'll probably slot in somewhere 6-8 depending on
Tuesday?

It's just really hard to wonder what would have happened if
Pratt played. This was still a 5 point game with 2 minutes left.
Kudos to Simmon for stepping up with 14 points - maybe those
would have just been Pratt's points anyways - but it stings that
one silly spit move changed our course so much.

Tuesday’s game feels somewhat big to avoid going into the
tournament with a three game losing streak. Also getting the
seventh seed is probably also preferable to avoid UNCW in the
round of eight I guess.
