at this point you're just looking for drexel to lose to
       campbell. tied in the second.

some kid at the endline was jawing off and pratt turned and spit
       in his direction.

       Spit? Oof. That's not good.
Rivera-Torres is just an awesome talent. When they were here, we
talked about guys with big-conference bodies, and how both he
and Pratt fit that category – JRT (Vandy) long and lean; Pratt
(A&M) a thick athletic wing. And what a midseason addition
       McClain has been.

This would've been nice to get, but I think Monmouth's a notch
above us. The ship hasn't totally sailed on a top 4 seed, but
we'll need to play well and to get help from unlikely sources.
The loss brings W&M back into play for a 5 or 6 seed, and even
       Towson.
I'd sign up for an opener against Hampton or A&T/Northeastern
right now. Elon's a live dog, Campbell has a really talented
backcourt and has played good teams tough.

I don’t see any way we see him on the floor tomorrow. Guessing
he’s back Tuesday but that’s no guarantee to me either. Spit is
just the most dastardly level of response to torment.

Terrible look. We can only hope he is back out there. But the
precedent for suspension for a spit is a gray area.

       Pratt's apology:
  HTML https://x.com/erikpratt_1/status/2027211798722552004?s=20
When I was in school, the whole student section should have
gotten our a$$es beat for the relentless vitriol we spewed at
opposing players, in hopes of getting an edge but mainly to be
bolder or funnier than the guy next to you. It was awesome at
the time, but so so bad and I'm not proud of it. One time,
different sport, we got on past-his-prime Ruben Sierra in an
Atlantic League game for refusing to sign an autograph in the
on-deck circle between innings (moronic in hindsight). He then
popped out and proceeded to run past the dugout into the stands
WITH HIS BAT IN HAND. We were terrified that he just snapped.
As an adult, I'm for standing up all 40 minutes, for max volume
and heckling to an extent. But I hate hearing curses at the
game, curses on TV, or any personal attacks – even though we
held nothing back as college kids. As a player, you're supposed
to ignore the fans but that has to be easier said that done. I
absolutely do not absolve Pratt for spitting. That crosses a
line. But if he mouthed off at the kid sitting a few feet from
him, or even got in his face, I wouldn't blame him. There's just
a level of dignity that I wished fans of all ages would have,
which I of course acknowledge is highly hypocritical to say.
