i saw some inside-out passing again. it's opening up perimeter
shots. 15 assists doesnt lie.
a little foul trouble but nothing egregious.
we havent been great on the road this year- so this is big for
us. 11/25 at bethune cookman- that's our only other road win.
so that's four in a row now- and if you add in the near-miss
against top ranked UNCW, i'd say we played 5 consecutive great
games. GO SB

It’s awesome to see a team evolve. Simmon went from multiple
DNP-CDs to playing such a key role. Butler’s really come along.
And Shosh is in this great rhythm now.
Terrific stretch for us. This could have gone south after nearly
tanking against A&T and then having the UNCW game play out the
way that it did. But instead, a great couple weeks. We hadn’t
won four in a row in the conference regular season since …
December 2021, the COVID year, in the America East. We haven’t
won five straight, period, since that year (Point Park, Bingo
twice, Lowell twice), and it’s been seven years since we won
five in a row in conference.

DJ Smith had a huge 2nd half after all and made this a game. But
the boys responded!
10-8-2 on 1/3 3PT from Butler. Active hands on defense. He
continues to become more and more of a fan favorite.
Goods put on for this family and friends and dominated in the
2nd half.

Lastly, Stony Brook has won last four games including the
Hofstra win.
Hofstra loses to Charleston tonight and has now lost 5 in a row!
We seem to have stripped them of their mojo

Another terrific win with contributions from everyone that
played. Let's close out the week with a win at Elon (3rd
Place?!?)
I'm all for enjoying the season but I can't help but think how
good this team could be if Goods, Shoshkikj, Simmon, Butler,
Valentiny, Gorman, and O'Connor all return next year. (I think
Pratt and Brown III are both in their final year of eligibility)
