I just read on X that heading into the 2026 season the CAA is
ranked 8th a big drop off but not surprisingly with all the
teams that have left

Nice article and it makes sense with a QB, good roster, very
good coach and a weakened CAA we can compete near the top of
the Conference...and return to the playoffs.

How do they make this determination before the season? Doesn't
make much sense to me.

Thanks for sharing.
Clearly our problem isn't funding. I'm glad to see we have great
funding levels. We are second in the list east of the
Mississippi river.
Now we just need to improve that ROI!!!!

I just ran my HS Football Showcase’s on LI in both Nassau and
Suffolk Counties and had close to 500 players and Coach Cosh and
his staff came to both of them which was appreciated by all the
Coaches and Players and from talking to him there’s a sense of
this will be a special year for SBU

With the 2026 season not too far off SBU has 38 new players
coming in on scholarship and another 9 PWO players.
