Spring Dominance?!?!? Is 2012 our year?

Its looking like this will be a memorable season for Stony Brook
Athletics. Most of our teams are in the top or 2nd place. I have
never seen such dominance across so many sports at the same
time. It early in conference play but its still awesome to see
our teams playing well.
Baseball 19-9, 2-1 (2nd Place)
Softball 24-9, 5-1 (2nd Place, 1st place tie on the loss column)
Men's Lacrosse 3-7, 2-0 (1st Place)
Women's Lacrosse 10-3, 3-0 (1st place, half game back on win
column)
Lets hope they keep winning in conference play. I would to see
another year like 2009-10 year with five NCAA teams

I would just love if we can get two NCAA trips this spring. A
total of four for the year would be great!

I think you can change:
Baseball 19-9, 2-1 (2nd Place)
to
Baseball 19-9, 2-1 (1st Place)
SB baseball is head and shoulders above the pack, despite the
young conference season.

Make that 20-9 after beating Iona this afternoon. Don't forget
Tennis both teams won today and track and field swept in their
first meet on their new facility last week. So far a great
spring !

Women's Tennis earns the Conference Tournament championship
after defeating UMBC earlier today. Football, Soccer, Women's
Tennis, WXCountry so far this year.
WLAX (2nd seed in AE tourney)
MLAX (top seed in AE tourney)
BASEBALL
SOFTBALL
all in the race for championships. This could be a memorable
year for Stony Brook Athletics.

Volleyball - AE Runner-up
Football - NCAA 2nd Round
Men's Soccer - NCAA 1st Round
Women's Cross Country

Women's cross country won the the AE title for the 5th year in a
row I believe.
