solid O but the D is a bit soft. it feels like we have 3 point
guards out there (do we?).
maine going to zone and we are moving the ball well. i think
the lineup needs more time to gel, but then again, that's the
sport nowadays when your team turns over yearly.

goods is my favorite player (i suspected this before season
started). the putbacks, the alleyoops, the boards, the passing.
shosh not a great stat line with 5 fouls in 9min.
while shooting wasnt great, 8 TOs is a really good #. gorman
has really come around too. im always happy when we close out a
win where we have a moderate (6-8 point) lead with a few min
left.

Good win, but things to work on. FT shooting needs to be better.
Outside shooting not looking good. Seems like we have a lot more
depth this year vs last year. Pratt clearly the best player on
the court; athletic and can both shoot and pass. Impressed with
Goods’ tenacity. Like the foreign guys, although neither has a
great game. Liked Gorman’s D and rebounding. Let’s see how we
match up vs Yale; we’ll be 3-0 and have a little mojo. That game
will be a huge barometer on where we are.

That one helped to erase some of the previous game. SBU was very
good the first five minutes, which made me think practice was
probably pretty serious the last few days.
A solid 10-10 from Goods to go with 4 assists and 2 blocks. Yes,
thank you, more of that please. And it looks like he may have a
little more help down low as compared to the situation last
year. It would be nice to see Kojenets further develop into
someone who could even play alongside Goods at times.
Pratt is a dynamic player. Felt like there were generally strong
lineups on the floor for SBU most of the game. Yeah, still seems
as though we have a lot of 1 guards.
At 2 mins to go was worried things might go the way of previous
SBU teams and the lead would dissolve, but they took care of the
ball pretty well and made free throws when it really counted.
No doubt we all saw some promise.

Probably the most impressive win of them all considering that
Rutgers is a member of the mighty Big Ten. To beat them on the
road 71-54 is truly impressive.
