they probably thought it was a definite win when they sat up
this game because they were just D1 a year or so ago. too bad.
and stony brook was the favorite to win.

The defense isn't good and the exhaustion sets in. Not a single
sub at LB and they play the whole game, even special teams. The
secondary is dreadful. To reach the 8-win mark again, SB has to
go 7-1. It's not gonna happen.

I agree the CAA remaining games are very tough such as Villanova
and Monmouth so my guess we end up 7-5 or 6-6

it was a bad loss yesterday maybe one of the worst for sb
football. we had not heard of them before the schedule came out
and I think they thought it would be a easy win.
why does sb still have football?

Lindenwood had a win over #6 SEMO last year. They're new to d1
but they're not door mats. Far from the worst loss for sb
football.
That said, does feel like this season is over already

It was a bad loss...no other way around it. I don't believe in
the betting lines, as they are not always accurate, but when you
are ranked in the preseason top 25 and favored on the road
against non-conference Lindenwood, you should win and do it
comfortably. Doesn't matter the improvement in the second half.
The front seven is very good against the run, LBs awful against
the pass and the secondary stinks against the pass. Don't get me
started about the coordinators.
