Squeezed a win last year against the Rams in the Bronx. Let's
hope we can continue our winning ways against them. Like Rhody -
This was a team we would routinely beat and the last few years
we have regressed tremendously on that front.
All-time series: 4-4; Streak: W1
3:30PM kickoff on whats looking like a beautiful Saturday for
College Football at LaValle! Lets get out there boys!

Fordham is a below average Patriot League team this year,
Beating Fordham means we should manage a few wins this season.
Losing and things may go south pretty quickly.

a wide open, red zone drop in the flat was costly. 3-0 SB so
far.

both offenses are abysmal on 3rd down. we are running the ball
well and making completions though. fordham doesnt look all
that great.
a big interception for ferrelli on a tipped pass, puts SB in the
red zone. Z runs it in on the next play. 10-0 SB, which looks
a lot like last week.

we gave up 10 quick on a drive and TO on the subsequent KR.
two plays later Dietz found himself all alone at midfield for 93
yard TD pass.

a 20 yard in, lobbed over the middle to bunicci, plus a helmet
to helmet flag, then Z to Freeman in the flat for YAC, and then
dempster/Z rushed to the 3.
but a silly push after the whistle and we move back 15.
then freeman takes a pass in the flat, and runs it all the way
in for a score. 27-10 SB

and still getting pressure with 3 up front.

final SB 41-18.
having a more-mobile QB is really opening up large holes for our
running game, particularly outside zone. and Z is capable of
getting there and also making contact. it's also opening our
flats, which happened a lot today, maybe that's FU paying too
much respect to Z, i dunno. case came in for the last drive.
pass defense was good today. which makes sense as i saw some
either dime or prevent packages; unclear as the camera wouldnt
pan out enough at times.
what's everyone's thoughts on our next season- many of our star
players are seniors (depending on what that means anymore!):
dietz, williams (rs?), kaler, papic, bunicci, zellous, etc. I
suppose every season is a new roster in this era of free agency
so maybe it doesnt matter as much...

Was at the game. It's great way for a family to spend a
Saturday. Highly recommend getting out to lavalle this fall.
Thought the team looked great. Hopefully the momentum carries
into next week
