gotta be fair and say I didn't see this coming. Early in the
season I didn't have this as a possibility. I knew we could get
into the championship game, just doubt it we would win it. I
read the comments that I made a month or so ago and this team
has grown a lot this season to change my mind. They have
improved every game, worked very hard in the last few. I'm proud
of them and wish them luck in the NCAAs.

I think it has turned. Alot of these kids will be back next
year along with alot of fresh talent. I only see us getting
better as this team becomes a veteran unit used to winning.

Great point. With Belton graduating, im gonna guess that this
kid Schultz steps in right away. He is lighting it up on one of
the top 3 high school teams in the country.
Besides, look at Nagle's eye for recruiting- Peter Baum
(Portland, OR), and some of the other recruits signed, now
making another tourney appearance will bring in even more
talent. GO SB!!!

I'm really impressed Nagle. I think he's been getting it done in
every way. He just won AE championship with a team that
graduated 4 all americans. As far as his recruiting goes, he
already brought in two first team all conference players in
Brady and Tundo. I think the future is bright. We have some
great seniors that will be sorely missed, but I think we have a
program now and players will step up and fill the holes.

Me too. And he brought in Andreassi, and next year his brother.
He even lost more than 4 AAs, he lost Trenkle, Legall, Reinert,
Greene, Camposa, PLUS the four AAs. That's difficult, and he
got it done.
Now, looking forward, there are all kinds of middies coming in
that will compete for time. I think we will see more Watson
next year and maybe some Schultz on attack, to replace Belton.
On mid, Campbell and Bonanno graduate, so that will put pressure
on Tundo, who will get the pole at every moment next year.
Every moment.
On 2 mids, Adams and Dahms graduate, but its clear that Duddy is
the guy, and they are comfortable with Andreassi out there.
Maybe these guys run first. Maybe some of the freshmen get some
action in the void.
On D, they lose Gibson, Moeller, and Miceli, but maybe Greene
comes back, and some good talent comes in. LeVerne goes too,
but Cerasi i think is ready to step up.

I agree w/Joewillie we need to shock the world next week!!! And
also gotta give Nagle his props he got it done. I know he takes
alot of heat for being a hard ass but that is what gets it done.
Ricky Sowel ran a country club and look at the results
underachieving 2011 team. I think you are 100% correct chairman
when you talk about his recruiting ability, if anyone saw
Colgate play you would realize that this guy has a knack for
getting top players such as Peter Baum who is the best attackmen
in the country. With the transfers we had this year and the
kids coming in next year we should be a in the mix for some
time. And with Hofstra home for the holiday's this could not be
sweeter. If you look at newsday.com you will find that Stony
Brook has the most 2012 commits from the island w/24 for all
sports mens and womens. Hofstra only has 10 so we are now
winning the local recruiting battle.
GO BROOK!!!
