Our game with Central Michigan was part of the Marquette MTE
last year so I don't know that they'll be reciprocating, but
maybe? It'd be nice to have a MAC team pay a visit. It's not a
big ratings thing; it's just something different and feels a
smidge bigger. We haven't had a non-NAIA team from outside the
eastern time zone in our arena since Western Kentucky in 2014.

In case you missed it, we’ll host Maine on November 8. Thinking
       that’s our home opener.

Nothing earth shattering here but here's what the conference
lineup will look like for us ...
Home: Drexel, Hampton, Hofstra, Monmouth, Northeastern, Towson,
       Charleston, North Carolina A&T, UNCW
Away: Drexel, Hampton, Hofstra, Monmouth, Northeastern, Towson,
       Campbell, Elon, William & Mary

According to another Twitter schedule czar who has emerged, a
few of our home games are locked in.

Five could be it for the OOC. Maybe a sixth is added, a cupcake
       perhaps.

Non-con schedule is out. See above.
Seven home games means that the locals will get their money's
worth, even if two are certain pummelings. The one thing we're
lacking is a real whopper opponent – which is fine. We should be
able to hang around or better in every game.

Multiple D3 games and no power conference games, I know we're
projected to do poorly this year but that is not what we moved
       to the CAA for.

Valid point. Ten years ago, we played at #17 Vanderbilt and at
Notre Dame. Non-con home games were Farmingdale, Princeton,
Hofstra and Columbia. So very similar.
Sadly, though, it doesn't really matter who we play. And if you
look at other CAA teams' OOC schedules, it's no different.
Charleston's is a little better but no real headliners; UNCW's
is worse. It's like we all (appropriately) realize that it comes
down to four days in March. With the move to the CAA, we all
envisioned better players, better opponents, and a glimmer of an
at-large bid to the tournament, however faint it was. Now, I
don't see how it's much different other than some more TV and a
couple more interesting conference opponents well outside our
region. Honestly, I'll still take it. Being in the CAA feels
       mildly more important.

there's that, and there's also the getting hot at the right
time. two seasons ago, we did just that- got hot in march, when
it counted, and fell about 30 seconds and a bucket short.
and then there's the vast majority of the past 17 seasons- which
was the opposite. 20+ wins, but collapse in the tournament. i
argue the first approach is almost better, depending on how you
       think about it...
