Between lacrosse and this, wow, that is some day for men’s
athletics. Finally.
Gotta be thrilled for the guys and the coaching staff. We had
been knocking on the door.
When Luster got ticketed with his second foul, I sent a doomsday
text to a friend at the game. For Geno to stick with him and for
Luster to give us 36 minutes, just terrific. Some enormous
buckets to stem the tide when it looked inevitable that Hofstra
would pull away.
Career night for Snoddy. He looked like a man possessed. I
cannot believe the strides he’s made offensively.
And a career night for Sabry. 25 gigantic minutes and I have to
think his biggest make in a Seawolves uniform when he hit the
short jumper to make it 71-67. Can’t remember any bigger. And
great energy and defense per usual. We got some big deflections
late.
Speedy looked exasperated with the whole thing. First
Northeastern, then Stony Brook.

exactly my thoughts too- exactly.
look how far we've come in such a short time. let's now focus
on getting in.

Terrific win. I watched the replay last night even though I knew
the outcome. I wonder how well the team could play if Frey
comes back. Can Octave fit into the rotation and contribute?
Goals for the season, as lofty as they may be- (1) win at least
three of the final six conference games, and (2) advance to at
least the quarterfinals in the tournament.
