aztecs just too too fast. both sides of the ball.
also, their receivers know how to find the seams in our zone,
and, their QB (denegal) knows how to time it.

The mountain West is a very competitive conference. Tough team
to schedule the season opener, especially with the travel.
Hopefully the team can regroup for the conference opener next
week

I have to say, with all the write-ups about the defense and how
good it will be and how it is much improved with the new
additions (transfers and freshmen) and returnees, we couldn't do
anything. In the last 3 games, dating back to last season, the
defense has allowed 128 points. Don't want to say changes need
to be made, but changes need to be made!!! And if this is the QB
duo we are going with this season, might as well have Dempster
take direct snaps or give Boyd (who just earned a scholarship) a
chance, can't be much worse. Yeah, San Diego State is an FBS
team I get it, but Rhode Island is probably better than San
Diego State.
