SB starts the season at San Diego State. I realize that’s an FBS
school, but is there any chance for an upset?

Maybe I'm too hyped, but I think this is a top 15 team in the
FCS. I think they're going to be very competitive with San Diego
State.

Less than a month away from facing the Aztecs! Can't wait!!
If I'm not mistaken - SD State is part of the Mountain West
which is a strong Group-of-6 Conference

With the 2025 season fast approaching, keep an eye on the NCAA
as they have a big vote coming up this month that will decide on
a bunch of changes that the Courts have ruled on and how they
get incorporated. Once the NCAA makes changes look for another
round of Schools jumping to new Conferences and they will
trickle down to the FCS as already smaller FBS Conferences have
been in conversation to see what FCS Schools might want to jump
to the FBS, going as far as willing to pay some of the
transition costs (5Million for application to the FBS).
I know a lot of you would love SBU to make the jump there are
many things to consider, Scholarships would have to increase,
Travel would be more expensive, Coaches' Salaries would be a lot
higher, Stadium enhancements and the big one Fee to leave CAA
and go FBS

Another thing that would have to change, but wouldn’t, is local
fan support for the team. There’s not enough among the student
body or local community to make a jump to FBS worthwhile.

That was my point because those are big ticket items and there’s
many more reasons so I don’t seeing it happen either
