It should have been us. It just makes me upset every time I see
it.

When JMU and Delaware jumped it was only $5K now it’s $5M so the
only way that I see is if an FBS Conference wants us bad enough
to pay a portion of that for us and I don’t see that happening
anytime soon

I'm on the Indiana bandwagon for the past couple of months. What
he is doing there is absolutely impressive. Brought down THE
Ohio State a couple of days ago. WOW
Win the whole thing Hoosiers!!

me too. they've always had the "infrastructure" but were
usually awful. they had a blip of success (if you can even call
it that) ~25 years ago with antwaan randle el. but he could
only do so much.
i hope he doesnt leave- with the ever-spinning carousel now
happening midyear, it's inevitable he'll get a call from some
cash-infused SEC team. or two. it could even be ND.
indiana has the big10 feel, size, atmosphere, facilities, etc.
to sustain, but maybe not the tradition and alumni support at
mich, PSU, tOSU, etc. Yet i think they'll sustain for a while.

Really should have made the jump while the fee was still that
low. Everyone saw the massive increase coming from a mile away.
Don't need me talking more about how the Heilbron era flopped,
but everything James Madison does lights the fire in me all over
again.

JMU had three things SB didn’t: a supportive student body, a
winning tradition, and NOT being located on Long Island. FBS was
never in the cards…Heilbron or not.

month

With an eye to the 2026 football season, a CAAFB coaching update
here today with New Hampshire hiring its former quarterback and
current Delaware QB coach Sean Goldrich as the Wildcats' next
head coach. Rick Santos' departure for Penn had raised some
questions about the Ivy League and CAAFB's place in the FCS
northeastern pecking order to come, though some of the questions
really may be more about UNH's financial support, as Coach
Santos presumably earned a good raise for a young family while
getting the stability of an Ivy program.
Coach Goldy is a New Hampshire guy, which makes this special,
but this also is sort of in the Coach Cosh mold. I'll be
interested in UNH/SBU matchups. Goldrich hadn't coordinated a
side of the ball to my recollection, but he coordinated
recruiting for the Blue Hens. Strong record of QB play in the
Carty/Goldrich era at Delaware.
