down 12 at half.
not gonna win this game with 3/14 from the arc, while getting
out rebounded 22-11.
we are 5/12 from inside, that's twice the percentage. do we
adjust?
am i a broken record? sure. so is 2 assists against monmouth
(7 assists).
snoddy in foul trouble early. pass the ball guys.

At least 6 or 7 really bad shots. For a team that isn’t an
offensive juggernaut to begin with, we can’t afford these poor
shot attempts.

I can’t see SH pulling the trigger and letting Geno go
regardless of this year’s results. His CAA run last year I think
bought him another year at least
We desperately need some size: this team can’t defend at all.
It’s going to be a long season or CAA opponents just lighting us
up.
We don’t really have much of a winning formula. Once we get
really hot with shooting - this team is very very limited in
terms of playing winning basketball otherwise. The pick and roll
game is nearly nonexistent. We barely score in the paint.
Nothing come easy. And we don’t shoot the 3 ball well either. So
how can we win any CAA games? I don’t know…

Monmouth just toyed with us at the end. Bashir is a special
special talent. He is just lights out from deep and there aren't
too many guys in this league who are going to be able to stay in
front of him either. Rice did fade last year so we'll see if he
can handle the mileage.
I thought we saw some good things from Woodard, particularly
with his back to the basket. The color guy kept saying it's
against analytics, but I'll take those looks. He's a wide body.
I hope we see more of him down there. We need his physicality.
The color guy also said Luster has to come off a screen
shooting. Absolutely true. We're just so limited offensively.
There will be good nights and bad nights.
Octave competed hard. I felt bad for him. Not much help.
Nyarko earned spot duty going forward IMO.
Right now, we aren't good on either end and I don't see it
changing.

Geno has to go, for real.
Losing your conference opener by 25 to a 2-11 team is horrific.

It seems like the play with these thurs/sat conference games the
play is to sit your guys if your game looks over. Geno didn't
play a starter besides colin after the 10 minute mark in the 2nd
half. Idk if that was to send a message or save guys legs for
Saturday. But I agree I liked what I saw out of Woodard.
Wouldn't mind him getting more minutes. Octave should spend more
time in the paint like he did today. He's too strong for these
frail guards.
