       I'm guessing they don't hold press conferences afterward, but if
       the reporter was present, he should at least be given the
       opportunity for a one-on-one in a hallway somewhere.

       that nuance was lost on me- it wasnt an actual interview
       (between geno and the statesman), very subtle, nice catch!
       in fact now im thinking not only was there no presser, perhaps
       the statesman just read the official athletics article and wrote
       about it?
