ya.. I read that too on verbal commits yesterday.. but I highly
doubt that we will be able to get him.
1) because LSU and Boston college are both very interested in
him,
2) because he will want to play right away and plays the same
position as Warney.
I would be very excited if we are able to get him though! and
impressed with our recruiting people for pulling it off.

Im gonna look at the glass as half full here. The video shows
him guarding on the perimeter a bit, something Jameel will never
do. We can leave Jameel at the five and plug this guy in at the
four with king or McAlister at the three. We can start 6'7",
6'9", and 6'8", with two 6'8"s off the bench. The great thing
about our bigs is they arent typical low div 1 plodders. Our
guys are fairly athletic.

If we get a few more bigs we will look like an NBA team . With a
point guard at 6'7 or so. Not complaing our coaching staff is
doing a great job bringing these kids in.

Agbeko looks awesome. His highlight video refers to as a combo
forward so I don't think Warney's presence at the 5 should scare
him away. I have no idea if we have shot at him, but I think
he's exactly the kind of player Pikiell should be going after
with this last scholarship.

He looks like an excellent athlete. Rumor is he is making his
second visit to LSU though.

Wow. What a snag that would be if we got Agbeko. Between Him and
Warney we would have a solid up front Forward position filled.
Now, could Pikiell do something about Brenton position ???

Senior year highlight film from Roland Nyama. I think this kid
is seriously underrated on the recruiting services. His
size/athleticism is awesome by AE standards.

As I indicated previously, I would love SBU to get Agbeko. But,
unfortunately, with all the high-level interest shown in him, I
doubt they have much of a shot.
Looking elsewhere, however, did anyone else take note of the
night Luke Petrasek had for Northport in their league final last
night? Wow!! I must admit that I wasn't very high on him
earlier, mainly because of his lack of sheer bulk to go with his
6'9" frame, but I must say I've become impressed. The kid can
play...and with SBU's terrific and proven weight/strength
training program, I think he could be a monster after a year or
so. Not to mention that he would be a great and rare local
attraction to spur community interest. Do I get any agreement
here? Do you think an offer should be put on the table for that
last scholarship billet?

Agree.. He has the potential to be a really good player in AE.
