       An article on Braley.
  HTML http://bangordailynews.com/2013/02/08/sports/academics-leaving-comfort-zone-lead-newports-braley-to-stony-brook/
He has had offers from over 20 schools. His NEPSAC team is 18-1
and he's currently averaging 18 pts and 10 rebounds a game.
Rebounding and winning basketball games sounds pretty
       Brentonesque to me.

Sounds like he is sold on us. Maybe a Brenton type with some
       scoring to go with defense.

great for us to get a kid from a place like phillips exeter.
also, i very much respect that this kid made a decision that
wasnt completely based on sports. it seems academics are very
       important to him.

       Good read.. thanks for sharing!
Few lines I really like from the article and my thougts:
       On Stony Brook,
       - "a heavy emphasis not only on his considerable basketball
skills but also academic and cultural considerations" what will
seperate us from other mid-major programs
       - "Going to Stony Brook and being near New York City gives me
the chance to do that" good to have NYC nearby.. great
recruiting pitch.. come play near NYC :)
       On CB,
       - "18 points and 10 boards per game while also serving as a
co-captain" rebounding and leadership in addition to scoring..
       our future captain
       - "And he typically defends the most physical kid on the floor,
so the demands are pretty high on him" always important but
       often neglected Defense!
I am really high on this kid! Go Seawolves!!!

Imagine if TB gave us 18 points per game along with his boards
and assists. This kid sounds like what we will need going
       forward after the Brenton era.

This is old news from December:
  HTML http://lancasteronline.com/article/local/793204_Finding-a-groove--McCaskey-handle-Ephrata-to-net-first-win-of-season.html
"Pinkard, a Division I talent, said he's narrowed his choice of
colleges to three — James Madison, Drexel and Stony Brook. He
expects to make his decision next month".
But we already have two wing players committed in Nyama and
Braley. He has yet to decide. Do you think we are still in the
       mix?

Powell would be a nice add. Another big up front always helps.

Talking about pursuit of another big man, apparently SBU has
recently offered Reggie Agbeko out of South Kent Prep School in
CT, after successful HS career at St. Joseph's in Buffalo. Take
a look and let me know what you think (See link below). Don't
know how much of a chance the Seawolves have, as there seems to
be a big interest building from other programs.
