Myers has offers Miami and South Carolina. It's great to see him
taking Stony Brook seriously despite having high major suitors.

I've seen him listed as 6' - 6'2, and as both a PG and SG. It's
clear SB has a strong presence in the NY-area, and as the
name/program become better known, keeping local talent at home
is a must. With the Mitchell commit, you still will probably
bring in at least one more guard in this class, as well as at
least one big. With the July live period about to start, this
is a really important time for all programs, but especially
yours considering all the positive publicity you received from
your baseball program. It's imperative that you build off that
buzz in your recruiting; another class like this year's and the
program will be in great shape moving into the new arena (and
maybe new conference).

Myers would be a great addition in the back court. He would be
coming in as a frosh with Coley and Jackson as seniors and
Puriefoy as a soph. That would be impressive especially the
way we rotate our guys during a game.

Don't forget Reid and Mitchell either! You lose 4 guards over
the next 2 years (Hayes/Rouse this year and Coley/Jackson the
following year), so right now you've added Puriefoy, Reid and
Mitchell (2013?). At least one more (Myers?) and you should be
set until the 2014 class....should be interesting to see who the
other guard turns out to be. For me, he should probably be able
to play both positions, as Reid is a 2G, and Mitchell is a combo
leaning to the 2G, with him more of a PG to back up Puriefoy.

Several sources on twitter are saying Philadelphia SF/PF
Jeremiah Worthem has cut his list down to Charlotte, Siena,
Niagara, Robert Morris, LIU, Wagner, Quinnipiac, and Stony
Brook.
Anyone know anything about him?

Really good player! I've seen him in high school and AAU. High
energy, very good rebounder, hard worker who can score inside,
but is also working on his outside shot. One of the top Seniors
in Philly this year. If you get him, I would imagine he would
be a starter from day one at the SF position. He's about 6'6",
with long arms and a tough demeanor on the floor. Another year
of working on his wing skills would make him a very good
inside/outside player. He would be a very good get for your
program......

Looks like Pikiell got his first (or second, if we are going to
count Kameron Mitchell) recruit for next year. Roland Nyama, a
6'5 forward from Cameroon. Currently at Holderness, the same
high school as Scott King.

This is a bit of a surprise. Everything I've seen on him states
that he is a SG, but really, at his size and with his skill set,
he will probably play the wing for you, being able to guard both
the 2 and the 3 positions. He looks like he has a college-ready
body right now, and at 19 already, and with international
experience, he should be a bit more mature than the average
incoming Frosh....He appears to have very good fundamentals, and
his footwork down in the post shows that he has been taught the
game well, which is usually the case with international players.
Clearly though, he also has some athleticism. Most 6'5" guys
that come into this league in the last few years are undersized
post players, not guards. As I stated before, you lose 4 guards
over the next two seasons. With Mitchell (?) and now this young
man, you seem to be ok in the backcourt moving forward when you
add in Puriefoy, Reid and Burnett. Still IMO need a big in this
class....here's some tape on him, both from Germany in '11 and
last year at Holderness:

I don't know what UVMhoopcat is talking about over on the AE
boards. I love Nyama's highlight film. I agree that he has a
rare combination of size, athleticism, and skill with a college
ready body. Also, I just realized at 1:35 Nyama draws the foul
and get the bucket against the top ranked recruit in the country
last year, Nerlens Noel.

UVM posters are a strange lot. But our new pick up seems
like the real deal nice.
