Who do you want if Cosh leaves?

An older coach who is connected to Long Island who can recruit.
Coach Cosh was a good hire probably too good if he can take
advantage of this season and get a better job after one year.
Cosh did a lot with a little if you look around at SB.

The DC Lewis and keep the OC Davis also keep as many of the
other coaches as possible

The best option would be to elevate Scott Lewis as Head Coach in
my humble opinion. If the entire coach staff leaves with Cosh,
then we are in trouble. Maybe try to pry away one of the
coordinators from New Hampshire, Richmond, or Villanova from our
conference. Villanova assistant coach Chris Boden has ties to
the New York Area and would make sense, but he's probably out of
our league and would have bigger aspirations.

I think this is still premature. Most likely outcome, imo, is
Cosh leverages interest into a year 1 raise.
As far as replacements, outside of current staff, I have no
idea. Did any of us know who Cosh was this time last year? Lets
just wait and see.

The season is over and hes getting a lot of interest I don't
think its premature. If he goes somewhere you'll read about it
and find out. a little raise at stony brook or three times what
he's making now is a easy decision to make. the coach did a good
job and will probably take advantage now instead of risk a bad
year next year is what I think. What I'm hearing is from two
reliable sources just like when I told you he was coming here.

I don't see what's so special about Lewis and why you would want
him as a possible head coach replacement. The defense allowed
122 points over the final 4 games and choked when it mattered
most. He didn't change anything up, didn't substitute in games,
except on the line, and couldn't make an adjustment to save his
tail. If Cosh leaves (god forbid), he can take Lewis with
him....O-coordinator Davis is the real deal and there were no
inconsistencies this season when it came to moving the ball and
scoring points. He would be my choice if Cosh leaves as a
replacement.

That’s your opinion but I happen to think that he did a great
job this year and hope he stays around for the near future

Lewis's defense was ranked 7 in the CAA this year. That is the
good news. the bad news is the teams sb played were all under
500 except for 1.

This was his first year with this squad so let’s see how it
improves under him next year as I believe the SBU Schedule will
be tougher

I'm also interested to see who our QB will be next year. The
freshman got some run in the beginning but not much after his
injury. Does he start again next year?
