If we're going to play a sub D-I, you might as well make a
tradition out of it and maybe get some butts in seats with the
hyperlocal audience. We square off against a Division III team
that already has losses to Westfield State, St. John Fisher and
finally a blowout at the hands of Stevens (to be fair, a strong
D-III). But it's an opportunity pick ourselves up off the
ground, give all of the reserves some real time out on the
floor, and to run our stuff. It's definitely one of those games
where the ball moves, guys get wide-open looks, we get second-
and third- and fourth opportunities, and maybe some highlights.
Nothing really to analyze here. We'll take care of business. If
anything, I'd like for Octave and Luster to showcase what they
can do offensively and begin to carve out their role in this
offense, presumably at the top two options for us.
Yale awaits us on Wednesday. Playing six degrees of separation,
they lost to UIC, which lost to Northwestern, in a game in which
Fitzmorris got a DNP. I don't see anything about an injury so
maybe it was a coach's decision. Just one appearance for Fitz so
far.
That's it for this one. Go SB.

Last year of a 6 (or is it 7?) year college career.
Would you: 1) Take $200K-$300K to go to a school to sit on the
pine OR 2) Forego most of that cash to play everyday at SBU?
If #2, what is the minimum amount of NIL $ you would take for
that option?

Was pleased that at least they pulled up with a few seconds left
and did not throw down a final slam.
Wouldn't say I gathered any substantive insight into the team in
person other than they look rather small. Couldn't help but
wonder, will rail-thin Luster be able to hold up and get shots
off against the herd of bigger, fullback guards in the CAA? And
what happens when Wight inevitably goes out and is unable to
play?
Good that the host of new players got some time in the arena.
Assume game against Yale will be a better look at who this team
is right now.
