That game winning layup by O'Connor was ABSOLUTELY FILTHY-
screen right, driving past two defenders, switching to the left
hand for an over the shoulder lay in. There's no way this kid is
       a FRESHMAN- I don't think we've ever had a player this mature
and this SOLID at his age since Warney.

Don't forget, he played Prep ball for a year, and they were
National Champs. He played with a couple of the guys on
Marquette. So he's probably 19 or 20. Nevertheless, I totally
agree, plays much bigger than a freshman, and looks like SBU got
a steal picking him up (for at least this year!).

I'm gonna take a wild guess and say O'Connor was under-recruited
to land at SB. Terrific win and all-around effort.
btw, I know it was a mistake but I didn't really mind the foul
at the 25 second mark. I'd rather have the ball with a chance to
tie or win it, than have to defend the last possession to send
the game into overtime with a stop..the analytics probably say
       otherwise :-\
Any word on T.O. and Nahar? I keep hoping Nahar plays his way
into the rotation, but I might have to wait another year//
