       I was impressed with O'Connor. I really think if it weren't for
       the transfer portal he would have found himself with Power 5
       offers last spring. Marquette is a really tough matchup to open
       up against. Central Michigan should be a better indicator of
       where we are

       Finally got to watch the game this morning. Marquette is a very
       talented top-20 team, and will contend for BE title, no doubt.
       Several thoughts on the game itself:
       - Despite the rapid succession of TO's in the 2nd half, I
       thought O'Connor showed a lot of poise under adversity. Pretty
       good ball handling skills;
       - Don't like the idea of Snoody bringing the ball up, even
       though he can handle the rock OK;
       - Wight definitely looks legit, but we are lacking any sort of
       backup for him, like we had last year. Not sure if small ball
       will win a lot of games in the CAA;
       - Luster and Octave look like scorers, and I expect good things
       from them.  Woodard looks athletic, but is somewhat raw;
       - Sabry needs to play more minutes, even though he can be
       somewhat offensively challenged at times. Love his D, and his
       toughness;
       - I know I'm in the minority on this, but I think the Frey
       experiment needs to come to a close. Year 2, and he's still a
       poor shooter, his choice of shots are downright shocking at
       times, and he's a below-average defender. Time to cut his
       minutes to under 8 per game imo;
       All-in-all, I don't think we played horribly, despite the score.
       2nd half was a bit rough, but I'm glad Marquette didn't let up.
       Games like these are good gut checks, and may pay dividends
       once we enter league play.
       We'll see what the next OOC game brings.
