Homecoming weekend. Stony Brook is nationally ranked for the
first time in 5 years. William & Mary is good. Looking forward
to this one

We better do a better job against the run. W & M averages 275.9
rushing yards per game (5.8 yards per attempt) and has 22
rushing touchdowns. Our 'backers might be athletic but are
always out of position against the run. Look at game film, and
tell me this isn't a glaring weakness. We are allowing almost
5.5 yards per carry.

Excited for Gameday. Lets have a fun day back at the Alma Mater.
I hope to be there early and do some tailgating. Looks like the
weather right now will be perfect for College Football (High in
the mid 60s)

Our incredible turnaround has been a bit under the radar as the
few folks who notice pointedly ask "who has Stony Brook beaten"?
Beating William and Mary (15 in Coaches Poll) will answer that
question and really open up some eyeballs around the country.
William & Mary beat Campbell by an identical margin to us (7
points) and William & Mary lost (!!) to Towson. They have to be
worried.
A tough but winnable game at home - would be a huge step up for
the program in terms of recognition.

red zone that could have had us up by 3 scores.
