Towson up to yesterday has been in every game they’ve played so
far in 2024 however SBU was coming off of their bye week and
that helped in preparing for yesterday’s game.
In my opinion Cosh will stay at SBU until the duration of his
contract then leave for an FBS program.
One of the reasons I believe this team is having so much success
is Cosh did a great job of putting together a very good coaching
staff. He didn’t cut ties with with the returning players that
played here last year proving that with good coaching players
get better. In addition to that he had a really good recruiting
class with transfers and HS players. Because of their success
this year recruits who wouldn’t consider SBU in the past are now
considering them.

Coach Cosh wisely build a little depth at QB and it is really
paying off. If Knoop is given time by the O-line he can deliver
the ball. As we saw v Towson. No reason we can't beat W&M and I
suspect Cosh and the players know that.

They are playing really good football so we will see how the
rest of the season goes its a bigger indictment on heilbron for
keeping the other coach here for so long.

Stony Brook Football back in the top-25.
So exciting!
I was away at a Music Festival in Vegas so missed Saturday's
game but looking forward to Homecoming matchup.
Now I think of what could have been if we got rid of Priore a 2
or 3 years ealier. We will always have that embarrassing winless
season to thank him for

knoop looked really, really great out there. i know things will
get harder as the CAA schedule thickens up. but it wasnt just
the score- we looked good. a few defensive mishaps (big plays)
but otherwise blocking and tackling- pun intended.
now, we need HERO to step up! lets help them out with a win.
who's going to homecoming?
