That’s actually a good marketing idea and should be shared with
the AD. That said, it will work only if the team becomes a
consistently top 20 program.

i see its 14-14 in the 2nd, but ive only seen a few plays
because Flo stinks so bad. what am i missing? knoop seems to
be doing great, and dempster has 2
TDs already. gotta be happy with the start?

That had to be a bad snap at the end of the half for Villanova.
Free three points.
This is really something. Nova's given up 11 points a game to
FCS opponents, and we have 17 at the half.

I hope they can hold onto the lead and win the game. Cosh is
doing a good job with the team. just imagine if Heilbronn had
pulled the plug five years ago.

That punt we fumbled is inexcusable, it would have given us the
ball up 24-14, maybe we make it 31-14! But instead, they score
and cut it to a 3-point game with a quick TD. If that changes
the course of this game...
And now they score a 59 yard rush TD! Goddamnit. Right after a
questionable PI on 3rd and 4. That punt fumble is not okay.
Immediately after, a 3 and out. That fumble, I hate it so much.
We should have had the ball to make it a 3-score game, and we
fumbled a punt. I'm not okay.

Agreed that this was a huge turning point in the game, but can't
help but think losing Chance Knox was the difference here.
Chance took a huge hit returning a kick in the first half.
But I don't want to point fingers. We're 4-2. Most of use would
have been thrilled with this pre-season.
I no longer think we'll make the playoffs, but that thought
would have been insane preasesaon. Coach will Cox will be a star
in college football. I'll be shocked if he's not an Power
conference head coach in 10 years. Momentum is in our favor.
Lets enjoy the next few years

I'll also add this was the first game I've been to in person
since covid. A couple thoughts
- Generally the in game experience is great. the area behind the
north endzone in awesome. Not great for getting crowd going but
amazing for casual fans
- What happened to the marching band. It was advertised as a
highschool marching band day, but it looks like enrollment is
half what it used to be pre-2019. The friends I brought were
looking forward to the half time show, and I was pretty
disappointed in the product. Did the previous band director
retire?

In my opinion we finished our first half of the season at 4-2
and for us to make the playoffs we have to go 4-2 for our last 6
games. Next week is our bye week so some of our guys get to rest
up before we play Towson on the road.
Another critical choice that I thought Cosh made a mistake was
we were down by 3 and Villanova had a personal foul and he
declined the penalty so they had 3rd and short instead of 2nd
and long and they got the 1st down.

I just watched the game replay and I must say, the defense did
well. On those run plays, the LBs looked lost. If anyone doubts
what I'm saying, watch the 2nd half and take a look. Perhaps
exhaustion, since they don't bring anyone else in, but there was
zero awareness where the ball was and that's something that must
be fixed. I think there were a few penalties that were
questionable, but it all went downhill with the muffed punt.
Just my thoughts.
