We haven't lost to Bingo in lax since 2017. That is BAD. We
usually blow them out, in fact, and dominate the all-time
       series.
I wonder how long of a leash Anthony Gilardi has. He's in season
6, we're 35-30 under him and haven't made an NCAA Tournament
yet, and we couldn't with a generational talent like Dylan
       Palonetti on our team.
       [/quote]
Read my post from Feb 3. My boys can’t stand Gilardi. So many of
my boys left last year in portal. Nothing has changed The new
boys are learning real fast. There is a terrible culture and
moral problem again. Coaches only care about themselves. The
boys are quitting like last year. There WILL BE another mass
exodus. Bonoc is gone after this season, mark my words. Why is
coach know for transfer portal, not a good thing to be good at.

Hofstra men's lacrosse team's John Madsen nets double-overtime
       winner to defeat Stony Brook

Hofstra men's lacrosse team's John Madsen nets double-overtime
       winner to defeat Stony Brook
Madsen, a Locust Valley High School graduate, delivered for the
Pride in the 15th meeting between the Nassau and Suffolk County
programs. Hofstra improved to 9-6 against the Seawolves.
The matchup also served as the start of Coastal Athletic
Association play for both, as well as an opportunity for the
programs to implement the lessons learned in losses to No. 6
North Carolina (by Hofstra) and Binghamton (by Stony Brook)
       seven days earlier.
What was revealed over the course of 66 minutes was that both
       the Pride (5-2, 1-0) and the Seawolves (4-4, 0-1) can take a
punch as well as deliver one.
Hofstra and Stony Brook traded momentum swings as a steady mist
       fell throughout the contest.
“A lot of credit to Stony Brook,” Tierney said. “That is one
good lacrosse team. They’re well-coached. They’ve got some great
       players.”

7-7 halftime at towson. physical game.
both teams alternating between looking like a HS team and a top
       20 team.
SB having some trouble creating shots (TU goalie is good), but
smith is dominating FOs (11/15, 6GB). still have poor SOG
       (50%).
will birney looking great as usual. marino's got 4G already so
expect him to be permanent in the lineup, with boyle coming off
the bench. weisshaar has 4/1 already but that was expected.

gave up the 3 goal lead, went to OT, lost on the first
       possession 13-12.
nice day for jamo with 16 saves.

Every sport is in a concerning state at the moment.
In this moment, we're supposed to look at the boss Heilbron for
       what he's doing wrong.

It’s been a tough year for sure across SB athletics. Annual
Giving day is just around the corner. I’m curious to see if
enthusiasm and therefore donations take a hit this year. The
transfer portal and NIL situation is also a very tough landscape
for mid-majors to navigate making the AD job even tougher.
Men’s lacrosse has very little to show for itself under 6 years
of Gilardi. Others on this forum have suggested there is a
morale and culture problem with the program but I have no
insight into that. I just see the wins and losses and it isn’t
       good.

hosting #12 fairfield. strong performance at FO, clearing not
great. but offense clicking with a 6-2 lead and it's only 9
       minutes into the game.

halftime was 9-9, now it's tied at 11 halfway through the third.
SB has forced 3 shot clock violations, which is great. hegarty
turned an ankle but seems ok.
birney and mccoy playing great. marino scored 3 highlight reel
       goals.

furious ending but won 17-6. biggest win a while. first
coastal win this year, and FU will drop like a rock straight out
of the top 20. this probably doesnt erase the bingo/SHU losses,
       but it's a start.
FU was probably a bit overrated as they got to #12 by not
losing; no huge wins, but some solid wins- lots of them- and
       otherwise took care of business.
clearing still had some issues that cost us. a couple of
hanging sticks cost us too. our assist % still sucks (young
team with new personnel) but our SOG% is way up (24/35). we
       lost GBs by ten.
mclachlan had a ton of saves- 20- and saw a lot of open shots
today (55 total). also picked a pass late in the game, leading
to o'brien's go ahead goal. oh and, jamo got the rare goalie
assist, and an ever rarer SOG!
some good runs from the second mids- correa, kloepfer, williams,
dechiaro, and im pretty sure boyle has moved to mid with marino
at attack. cieleski got some runs at LSM. anderson fagen and
kraemer played SSDM. a good idea in the heat.
in other news- hof blew up delaware in newark, and towson beats
       drexel.
