end of half, 4-3 UNC.
still having trouble with the 10man. and losing TOP badly. and
cant take care of the ball on offense.
jamo still great. we forced a shot clock violation too.
hegarty still making plays with two perfect slides that caused
TOs. looks like we are finally playing defense this year, which
i havent seen this good since 2010 or even the Tiffany teams.
keep in mind- last week at #19 rutgers on the road, went down
4-0 and won. GO SB

end of Q3, unc opened it up a bit near the end, 8-3.
more jamo over and over again, but more trouble with the 10man.
we only seem to clear the ball off unsettled situations;
fortunately there were many in this stanza.
more good plays from hegarty, birney. baldwin made a few plays
too.
lots of silly turnovers on offense- the kind you can't afford
against a UNC. the heels playing physical and we can't keep up.

UNC wins, 9-4.
jamo really was great. if nothing else we've commanded some
respect. i think we'll continue to get votes on monday.
on to queens sunday, let's get a win. GO SB

playing at Queens in Charlotte, a program new to Div1.
Queens packed in a zone and took away some opportunities. but
we figured it out. 9-3 SB at half.
PS- i noticed last week that drew guttieri has appeared on the
roster. he is playing today.

win 11-6. offense had a little trouble in the 3Q. the queens
GK, which changed at half, made some great saves. but we have
to work on SOG, it's awful (22/49).
we may have been out-physical-ed by queens, which i saw against
UNC too. something to work on. we may be a little small on
offense.
another great day for jamo, birney, baldwin and even the RU
transfer, crosby. defense is good this year, every game so far.
what a turnaround so far.

first half hosting SHU, 5-3 pioneers. we knew they were good
this year; defense is largely doing their job but we are playing
too much of it, mostly because we arent taking care of the ball.
that and poor shooting / stick protection.
in other relevant news- #17 penn is blowing up #18 delaware,
7-0.
