Sadly, it's not over yet. A stupid late hit penalty killed a
good drive to make it 2nd and 27. Five straight drives without a
score after the hot start. This could be a tied game soon, which
would be pretty sad for us!
Marshall has been throwing behind and under his receivers a lot,
but he did make a great 3rd and 15 pass for 22 yards on that
drive. Still, no excuse for this to be a close game after going
up 21-0.

Atrocious luck. Marshall gets hurt after two 15-yard gains and
the run gets stuffed with Knoop in, then a no call on a pass
interference hit on 3rd and 13. I'm so tired.
Also, the false starts have to stop. Not a fan of the center's
performance, he's also had a few high snaps.

BTW. Buffalo beats northern Illinois. And yes, that's a top 25
team.

The tight end was wide open for a TD on 3rd and 3, no.... that
was a bad pass. But I love the gutsy play call from Cosh to go
for that pass when the defense is expecting a run, that pass
just had to be made.
Still got the FG to make it 24-14.

3-1!!!!! 3-1!!!!!!
I can't remember the last time I felt this good about Stony
Brook football. We were 7.5 point underdogs, the broadcast said.
So even though I would have loved a dominating blowout after the
21-0 start, we've proven we can upset on the road.

for what it's worth- dempster had a 50 yard run- up the middle
no less- that was called back.
