Am I excited about stony brook’s football program again? 2-1
going into a game against Campbell who I still think of as a
none scholarship pioneer league team… I’m I already thinking
playoffs in Billy Cosh’s first season?

The last time we had a winning record was 2019. We were 5-3, and
then we lost the last four games of the season.
It's been 5 years... We still haven't played a CAA team, so I
don't know how we stack up against the rest of the conference
yet, but it's been half a decade since we last had a winning
record.

most of the picks today were tip-ups. still an interception,
but not the same as what one may be picturing.

This six point win needs to be kept in perspective, considering
lowly Central Connecticut beat Fordham by 30 last week.

[/quote]Yes, Fordham’s not very good this year and and Stonehill
- demolished by UNH yesterday - is awful. But I’ll take the W’s
and Campbell’s a very reasonable next opponent.

Very good start to the season. This team is night and day vs the
one dimensional Priore teams of the past. CAA will be a big
test, but we should blow past the pre season predictions. We are
definitely not the worst team in the CAA based on what I’ve seen
so far. Success

Perhaps I'm just an optimist, but those two pick 6s are the only
reason that it was a "close" game on paper. We outscored
Fordham's offense 27-7.

This win was another reflection of how far the program had
fallen under Priore. This same Fordham teach would have won by 3
TDs
Impressive what Cosh has done in such a short time. Marshall
still has some work to do but he's been a lot of fun to watch
