Game 1 is tomorrow!
Who is our starting QB? Do we rotate QBs within the game? What
does the new offense look like? What does the new defense look
like (looks like we're playing a 3-4 rather than 4-3)?
I think the team will be better than last year, but that likely
won't be evident tomorrow. For tomorrow, I just want to see the
guys keep the game close through the first half, stay healthy,
and collect the check.

On a previous post someone wanted to know why we got so little
money to play Marshall well even though contracts are negotiated
years in advance SBU ran the risk of Marshall pulling out unless
they renegotiated so SBU took less money to keep the game.

No use crying over spilled milk at this point, but with Anthony
Johnson continually posting Stony Brook content on his social
media feed, I'm guessing his departure probably has something to
do with him not wanting to burn a year of eligibility on a
(maybe) bad FCS team and not any actual discontent with Cosh.
Anyway - let's see what Cosh can do. Not expecting a W, but
Marshall was an under .500 team last year who barely beat Albany
21-17.

Lightning delay is a bummer.
Knoop 7-10 for 57 yds to start, but he's barely had any time to
throw with Marshall's D-line winning the pressures so much. The
final play before the delay was a beautiful 13-yard gain on a
short pass to the TE, who had an open field in front of him, on
3rd and 10 at our own 10. Defense has held Marshall to just 21
yards combined in their first 2 drives. Things just feel better
without Priore around.

The punter is good but they still dont have a qb. penalties. the
first game is out of the way so how are you feeling about the
team and the rest of the season? The center cost them a lot in
the beginning of the game.

I like that Cosh kept the freshman QB in most of the game I
think he will do a lot better as he develops. I was also happy
that the Regis kid played

I thought both Qb's looked OK, and neither had the luxury of
much time in the pocket. I guess the season really starts next
week.
