12 regular season titles in a row! The longest
conference-winning streak by any team in any sport in the NCAA
continues. The dynasty rolls on!

Absolutely remarkable.

I understand the conference wants to spread the wealth around
some but Riley McDonald is the best offensive player in this
conference and deserved attacker of the year. Wilmoth a close
second.

SB wins 12-10. that's 12 straight. NCAAs await. the only
difference this year from every other year is, the final was in
question until 2min left, and also, we are certain we will get a
bad draw / no seeding. GO SB

Another conference title is awesome. Drexel is a scrappy
athletic group with a great goalie and kept it tight all game.
Remarkable feat for Coach Spallina and the program. Barring a
miracle, I don’t think this team has enough horses to go on a
tourney run. Still gotta enjoy the moment. What I do know, is
that Cathy Reese and Maryland will be a top 8 seed regardless of
RPI. The selection committee needs a complete overhaul. I find
it shocking that more attention isn’t brought to the fact that
sitting coaches that are participating in the tourney sit on the
selection committee deciding seeding etc. It’s gross. A
selection committee should be a neutral body. Period.

Not used to actually having to pay attention for the conference
title game, our average margin of victory has to be at least 10
in them

Stony Brook women's lacrosse wins another CAA conference
tournament championship

Eleven straight conference championships.
Twelve straight NCAA tournament appearances.
The Seawolves (15-4) have won three straight CAA titles, and
dating back to 2013 when Stony Brook was in the American East,
have won 11 conference championships in 12 years. The only year
that Stony Brook did not win a conference title was 2020, when
the season was paused due to COVID-19.
“Even in the huddle before the last goal they were all telling
me ‘You got it, you got it, it’s on you,’” said Budke, who had
scored seven goals this season prior to Saturday. “I just feel
like the camaraderie we have just pushed me to be even better.”
“Tip of the cap to Drexel,” Spallina said. “They played their
hearts out. Great team. Their goalie had 18 saves and that’s a
big reason why we couldn’t run away.”
