New thread to discuss the 2024 season.
Also a plea to the athletic department to update the roster on
the website before the spring game.

I believe the roster is updated, with the exception of the
players' years and a few missing pictures. The coaching staff is
all updated, too.

I thought there were 2 gray shirt freshmen, and isn't Knoop on
campus for spring ball? Knoop being the big omission

As far as I know any member of the football team that is
currently on campus is on the current roster. Anyone who has not
reported as of yet such as; freshmen, transfers (not currently
in school).

I just got the official word on the roster #12 is the QB
Transfer from Georgetown he’s not listed and #36 has left the
team. All the Freshmen for Class of 2024 and other Transfers who
are not currently on campus are also not listed. The rest of the
Roster is right.

The other thing that’s not up to date is if a player is say
listed as a senior he could possibly still have 2 years of
eligibility.

Missing from the online roster is Georgetown QB transfer Tyler
Knoop, Class of 23 Grey Shirt Freshman Wyatt Cooper and Class of
24 Early Admission Alex Menghi. All three have been on Campus
and apart of everything since January between winter lifts and
spring ball and all three will be present this evening. All
confirmed by staff members.

The two freshmen have been rehabbing so they will count against
the 2025 Class instead of 2024

Grey Shirt as far as I know doesn’t count against the current
class while Red Shirt does. I remember a few years ago Zach
Hoerter was hurt so instead of reporting in August SBU had him
report in January so he could be counted against the following
year’s class so I think I know what Grey Shirt means
