Wouldn't that be a great fit down low, with Wight and Snoddy?
Not to mention how much interest might be stirred up by a
home-town product to bring out the locals!

[tt][/tt]Jeremiah Nyarko committed. 6'9 F, played at San Diego
as a freshman, then went to JUCO Western Texas, committed to
Arizona State while in JUCO, but then was released from his NLI
in April and now he's with us.

HUGE PICKUP. Good size, very athletic. Very fast first dribble,
electric dunking ability. Should dominate in the paint. I can
see pick and rolls with octave being devastating.
This recruiting class is extremely impressive. Geno gets an A+
Hopefully Alex Sorbel takes the final scholarship, and we should
be in the mix for contenders of the CAA next year.

well done geno & co! i like this pickup. he glides through the
air, AND can dribble. lots of dunks and alley-oops. of course
it's a highlight reel from JuCo though. he also doesnt look
6'9''.

Starting five right now – what are we thinking?
What do we do at the point? Can Octave or Luster be the primary
ballhandler? Or are the keys in TO's hands, or even O'Connor's?
What we do with that final roster spot will be very telling. Do
we go big (i.e. Sobel) or shore up the PG spot?
If I had to guess on May 13, our starting five is Octave,
Luster, Woodard, Snoddy, Nyarko, with Frey giving us shooting
off the bench, Philip some energy, and Wight some presence down
low. Second guess would be Octave, Luster, Snoddy, Nyarko,
Wight. I'm sheepish about it because I've fallen for the juco
numbers before. I just don't think any incumbents this year
seized major minutes or had this incredible impact besides
Snoddy, and that too is telling.
