I think we're too far down in the rankings for NIT (KenPom has
us at 173). Figure 68 in NCAA and 32 in NIT is top 100. It'll
extend beyond that with some upset teams getting automatic
births. CoC gets an automatic NIT if they lose tn. Not sure
these guys would want CBI or CIT or if SBU would pay for
something like that.....who knows?

FYI, the NIT did away with the automatic bid to regular seasons
champs. I suspect Charleston would get an invite anyway.

while i agree with sentiment- can this actually benefit us?
look at our history. won on a lot in the reg season, lost a lot
in the tournament. try something different, use our depth.
