Just an inexcusable loss all-around. Really reminds me of the
Wagner one in how we came in riding a huge streak of momentum
and then proceeded to get upset in a blow out with a terrible
defensive performance. We couldn't even outrebound them with our
size.

Fitz finished with 2 rebounds and Maidoh 3 rebounds and neither
had a block against guys 6’6” and under. Didn’t compete at all.

What the heck? I had to turn it off at 26-18 … and then down
52-38 at the half? 95 points?

Great off-the-ball movement by Campbell. It seemed like they
were able to get a good shot off every possession. SB on the
other hand, not so much.
I had hopes that SB could continue its run and climb into the
top 4 by the end of the year. Middle of the field is probably
more realistic.

Things started falling apart once Campbell stopped pressing us,
since we were breaking it easily and getting lots of open threes
from it.

I haven't watched yet. Looking at the boxcscore, I Can't believe
how efficiently we let Campbell score. Also embarrassed by my
defense of the Geno renewal.

Wow! Just watched the replay (keeping my phone off all day).
Early 10-pt lead vanished in about 6 minutes. Aside from
Campbell’ torrid 3-pt shooting, how many backdoor cuts did they
execute against us? 15 maybe? Embarrassing defensive effort. TSM
just couldn’t get it going on the offensive end. The first 10
minutes of game we moved ball well, and then we just stopped
moving ball and launched some pretty poor shots. But we clearly
lost the game on defense. Golden oppty, turned nightmare. Credit
to Campbell. We looked jet-lagged on defense. Hampton could
easily turn into a trap game for us, after this one.

I was watching the pregame of the UNCW/Campbell game, and Siddle
expressed concern with having such little time to prepare for
that style offense, and UNCW barely skated by. It’s a line Geno
would undoubtedly have used in the postgame.
95 points to them is something. Brutal. Always two steps
forward, two steps back.
