Another collapse. Another horrific CAA loss after in command
most of the game. Doesn’t seem like this team will ever put it
       together

Why foul Carlos off a timeout? Coaching matters.

Oh my god. I'm sick. Noll's clutch steal and FTs got it to 73-71
with 40 seconds left. You'd get the ball back with 10 seconds
left if you get a stop. Why would you foul – the 95% FT shooter,
no less, in the double bonus???
I need to know if that was Geno's call or Maidoh's mental lapse.
Jeeeeeeez. You had the improbable happen to get it back to a
2-point game after it was a 7-point hole under 2 minutes.

All coaching in the 2nd half. After a timeout, coach needs to
reinforce scenario in the huddle. Obviously, you play defense
down 2 with 43 seconds left. You don’t put a 95% FT shooter on
the line when they’re in the double bonus. Coaching at its
absolute worst. All 4 of SBU conference losses, have repetitive
theme of blowing it in 2nd half, in almost identical fashions.
We should have a better record with this roster. Maybe we’ll
beat Hampton late in the season.

You knew this was coming when Hofstra hung around and hung
around. Dubar going nuts. Some cheap turnovers, some easy
       buckets.
Bottom line though: That was an offensive atrocity. Plenty of
skill on the floor, but just no flow, no movement, no passing.
There was a game years ago where Klay Thompson scored 60 points
on 11 dribbles. We, on the other hand, pound the rock more than
any team I can remember. Dribbling endlessly, driving into
traffic, stepbacks, contested threes, looking totally
unscripted. And there were times where the ball bounced around
and we freelanced and finished around the rim. But the whole
thing had us shaking our heads all night. What on earth was that
out of the timeout? WHERE is he going right now? There's six
seconds left on the shot clock and our guy's dribbling in the
corner, WHAT are we doing? The box says we had 10 assists, but
       that's 10 more than I remember.
I know, recency bias is a thing and the schedule lightens up,
but that was bad. Even when we were up, it was bad. Maidoh was
tremendous, Snoddy was TREMENDOUS, and I'll even give it to Noll
for his shotmaking, particularly in the first half. But very
little of what we saw was good offensive basketball. Dumping it
down to the block is only going to take you so far, and we only
got five makes from our two bigs, who I consider secondary
options offensively anyway. Sadly, we've been over this before.
It's just so noticeable when the other team's point guard is
creating for others, the ball doesn't touch the floor, and guys
are getting open looks as a result. We do not get these same
looks. And now we're down to 26.2% from three in conference
play. Some of that's who's shooting it; some of it is not.
TSM with 9, 1 and 1 is staggering. And just two two-point shot
attempts. I chalk that up to the system, not the player. Guy
competed like hell defensively and kept Thomas to half his
season average. Dubar and Carlos with a combined 53 in his
stead. Both of those guys are superb talents. Carlos is on my
       favorite-CAA-guys team.
Geno put it on the defense in the postgame. And there's
definitely something to that as they had some easy finishes
underneath. I just thought we were so poor offensively.
Hats off to the athletic department. The stands weren't packed,
but that was a really good college basketball environment. Band
brought it, students brought it, games during the timeouts were
great. We cleaned up nice for national TV. I'd love to see that
kind of energy every night. And Battle Zone Radio on the ride
       home was [emoji91]
Without a doubt, we have faced the toughest conference SOS. But
if we want to compete for a spot in the upper echelon of the
CAA, yes, we have to beat the good teams too. This would have
been such a pick-me-up, but instead it was more of the same, and
now we're sitting at 11th in the conference standings with more
formidable foes over the next two weeks.
       Just a disappointing result tonight.

Very disappointing game for TSM. A lot of ugly shots, airballs,
hitting the backboard and out of bounds. This team has
individual talent but lacks chemistry- and if it hasn’t come at
this point in the season I don’t see when it will ever come.

Thought the atmosphere was great being in the stands last night.
3 point shooting did us in again. Felt like they never let TSM
get open all game. Seemed like we had a lot of success early
getting it inside to Snoddy and Maidoh and then they got away
from that in the 2nd half and took a lot of contested shots.
Side note - I thought Cosh was great in the meet and greet.

Tsm didn’t get a lot of stuff run for him Noll is an absolute
wildcard when hes on its fun when hes not yikes. This team is
extremely old so to not finish games routinely is alarming and I
also put that on Geno. TSM did a good job guarding thomas early
but Dubar went crazy. Snoddy great game tough tough avoidable
       loss.
