Yes, Checkmate is great! I get it, with Newsday resources being
scant and readership way down. But counterpoint, Hofstra always
gets press on their games, and we're in the same conference now!
Suggest that SBU Athletics departments gets on Newsday's case a
bit more on this. And Checkmate, offer to do a few games for
free for them, with the intent of eventual paid contributions,
if they like you.

I don't think we talked about Sabry Philip yet. Where did he
come from in this game? The most athletic player on the floor by
a wide margin. Played much bigger than his 6' 4" frame. Will he
have another year of eligibility after this season? Think he
could be very important for us next season if he can come back

Agreed, but may be difficult to find him minutes. I think he's
listed as a Graduate student, but so was Fitz last year, and he
came back.
