Terrific win. It really didn't feel like we were ever in trouble
       once we took the lead.
TSM in line to hit 1,000 on Saturday. Policelli did it last
       month. Pretty neat.
It's great to be able to put the ball in Clarke's hands. He
always seems to know when to press forward or dial it back and
       run a set.
Northeastern might have a long year.

What a difference a real broadcast makes. Very good win tonight.
       Huge challenge against Charleston next

HUGE WIN! 10 massive boards from Snoddy off the bench. TSM felt
like he really asserted himself in the second half. Hope to see
more of that as we progress. Nice to start in the win column!

I didn't expect this to be the game with the stress-free second
half after how some of these last few games have gone for us,
but I'm proud of these guys for their defensive effort on a
national stage tonight. TSM was held in check for the first
half, so finishing with 21 is something to marvel at. That
fadeaway to put us up 10 was the dagger. Northeastern could not
shoot and they didn't want to, just a great job at honing in on
our opponent's weakness and making them earn it the hard way.
For us to end up tied in rebounds with their size advantage is a
testament to how hard-fought we were. Snoddy had 10 of them,
       after getting 8 vs Brown.

What about when we went 13 for 30 against Stonehill, or 16 for
30 against Bryant, or 11 for 27 against Norfolk State? Or 12 for
29 in getting smoked by Duquesne? Or only 18 in a win at Army?
Or 16 in a loss to St. John's?
Sometimes it's about being too three-happy, but it's not
aaalways about that. For once, we have a few guys who can knock
down shots, and a few guys who can distribute. If the ball
doesn't move and we have Sarvan chucking up 10 a game, yes, it's
a problem. Right now though, we're fifth best in the conference
and it's a pretty good source of offense. I'm open to open looks
       of all types.

Really good win. Feel like 3s are all about when we take them
and who takes them we got some guys who can hit we are also not
a bully ball team. TSM becoming one of my all time favorite
       seawolves great effort.

yeah, i know. stonehill i discarded due to level of opponent.
i meant that not 100% of the time, but more as a correlation.
when we take less, we miss less. normally we give a team 20
possessions with missed threes (unless we have an outlier
o-rebounding night). sure some of that washes out on the
opponent's misses, but we often take in the thirties and hit
       under 25%.
i thought we played good at SJU and army. we took a lot of
       airballs last night from deep.
it's hard to say what's a high # vs a low #. it depends on the
game, the strategy, who is on the floor, the opponent, etc.
Generally i dont love over 20-22. that's one per minute, which
means if we take 30, that's basically every possession. which
means it's a hapless strategy, usually with no passing or
attempt to work the paint. which was way more egregious a few
years ago than it is now. we had 1 assist last night in the
       first half (which we fixed).
i do think frey's dribbling and passing is improving quickly.
as is the whole team. last year was clearly an aberration but
       yet our ball sharing improved.
NE was a good example of a team that passes the ball. watching
the game last night, i dont care that they lost- they are a well
coached, disciplined team. they share the ball, passing into
the open lanes for dunks, etc. to me, that's bball. not
chucking up perimeter shots hoping they go in enough to win.
this has cost us way too many AE tournament games- the ones that
       really count.

I really like our 8 man rotation right now with Fitz and Maidoh
starting together. Fitz has been so good since the start of the
December and their combined length is a problem for teams
defensively. Back in the AE, I'd say we'd be for sure title
contenders - just need to find a way to beat Vermont.
Unfortunately, the CAA has 5 teams that are as good as Vermont.

I think we can be contenders for a 5 seed with Monmouth who is
       pretty decent now.
