Lyle Hemphill New DC at JMU

I was not sure where to put this as a lot of threads are locked.
It looks like Lyle will be at James Madison University.

Why'd he leave Wake? Did he get forced out or something?? Seems
odd to go from an ACC school back to a G5. I still believe we
should have made him coach before we let him walk at the end of
2016

His last stop wasn’t Wake Forest it was Duke (I believe) and
they just got a new coach if I’m not mistaken so he needed a
job. If he does a good job at JMU and they continue to grow
there program it could raise Lyle’s clout in the coaching arena
and get him a bigger FBS job.

Manny Diaz came into Duke and cleaned house, brought in a new
DC, Jonathan Patke, from Texas State. Makes sense, coaches like
to have their guys and not leftovers from previous coaching
staffs.
