A reminder that MSU had the sixth-ranked team in America down 28
at halftime four days ago. They might just be really really
good.
3 for 18 from two
2 for 19 from three
Sometimes it’s poor shot selection, coaching, effort. Sometimes
it’s far superior talent.

the nice aspect to having fitz/maidoh is that 32 zone with
proper coverage down low.
what do you guys think, do more teams run 32 or 23? we'd get
smoked against these outside shooters in a 23.

Bad look for the school and conference. Really big let down.
Look in the mirror game for Aaron Clarke especially 1-8 with 2
points. Unacceptable for a 6th year senior.

Yeesh. At least it's over.
Wouldn't be surprised if that undid all the work from the 4-game
win streak in all the rankings.

a bad night. not easy to play down roughly 46 in the second
half.
unnecessarily long threes. poor shooting, poor shot selection,
lethargic defense. many blocked shots, even when our taller
bigs take them.
total assists- 33 to 7. i dont know if you could even come to
any other conclusion that you have to move the ball.
now onto the good- i like toby's effort, i like going to
frederick off the bench.
i thought maidoh was good on offense tonight. fitz played well
too on offense, despite the foul out.
o-boards.
at least we improved on the second half. from distance we were
2/19, and then 4/12. we only scored 12 in the first half, and
then 43 in the second. maybe it was nerves, maybe it was
rim-outs, maybe both. yes, MSU is great.
we might need to put some meat on nahar. is he playing up top
in the zone?

By some miracle we only dropped 8 slots on Kenpom from 257 to
265.

All I can say is thank goodness BTN+ doesn’t offer replays. I
saved $10 and listened to part of the game on the WUSB in-studio
broadcast (the kid was pretty good btw) on my way home. What a
drubbing! Unfortunately, a game like this does nothing for team
morale or the momentum that was built up over the last 4 games.
