One other thing I told someone on one of the posts that I will
post the list of where all the NYS HS Football Players have
committed to play in College and for what Sport I will put this
up sometime in January and update it once a month and it will be
sorted by college choice

Gabe Blowes of Westhampton Beach HS was supposed to be a PWO but
that no longer will no longer happen

I'm sorry to be negative but any player to commit here as a PWO
is either disillusioned, had the Hatch spell cast on him or has
been deaf and blind to the last two disastrous seasons that this
program has had and the current state it's in. A clear sign is
in the full scholarship kids RAN from this program. They
unfortunately will run away one day also once they experience
the depressive atmosphere of SBU. The older players that come
here are only coming for a paid grad program and such and are
not going to be much help as they know SBU's history. Eg. CASE.
It's going to be years before this program (if it lasts)
recovers.

I disagree with almost all of this. A PWO is getting preferred
admissions to 58th ranked university in the country. That's a
very a good reason to accept PWO offer.
I very much disagree with the notion that full scholarship kids
'RAN' from the program. I actually think there's been very
little roster turnover considering the program just went through
a coaching change. Look at how many transfers Albany is losing
despite going to the semifinals or how much talent Merrimack is
losing with their coach moving onto Holy Cross.

I havent ever said that i graduated from the xx ranked
university and I graduated from a well known university. There
have been a handfull of decent players here but a lot of them
transferred out its going to be a long road back if sb can come
back which i think is impossible with shawn heilbron here. that
department needs new people at the top. I hope im wrong and
coach cosh has success fast but its a big job for a first time
coach to do. i hope we can start to add a few names in this
thread of Cosh committments soon. not much to be expected now
that the holidays are here and he is like hatch enjoying
holidays.

I would expect that he’s trying to put a staff together however
I don’t know who’s working or not working during the holidays.
The NSD Part II is the first Wednesday in February so before we
throw in the towel let’s see what his staff looks like and what
players sign their LOI at that time

You have every right to disagree but players are exactly that
PLAYERS and want to play on a good program. SBU failed all these
players in every way as a program. I stick to my position, SBU
should drop down to D3 or buy into D1 100% and run it as such.
Look at there website....Minimal effort. Look at the touch down
club.....minimal effort. Look at the president in her support of
Athletic....actually less than minimal effort.
Helibron...minimal effort. Cosh has to has a lot of energy and
vision to turn this program around and hopefully has the backing
and support of the University, but by President McInnis's
absence at his introduction speaks volumes that he doesn't.

They aren’t dropping down to DIII because they can’t because all
their other sports are DI so they have two choices stay where
they are or get rid of the sport and that’s not happening
anytime soon
