Lucky to come away with the win, IMO. TSM put the team on his
back in OT. Blowing that late 5-Pt lead in regulation was bad.
Noll’s TO on an inbounds after a timeout was inexcusable. I’m
not comfortable with either Noll or Frey handling ball in
pivotal situations; they turn the ball over way too much.

I first guessed Geno in the last minute of regulation, but the
kid missed the front end of the one-and-one, so it worked. I
thought the foul on AC was legit, but it could have easily been
a no-call, considering it was a 1 on 2 drive/prayer. (Nice job
knocking down both FT's and a terrific game from AC overall.)

The thing is, it's hard to win on the road no matter the
setting. We've lost at some pretty abysmal places in our time,
so to ward off a 15-three afternoon for the opposition is no
small feat. I don't think our contests were bad either – they
just hit em. Fifteen threes is one fewer than their single-game
record. And it's easily easily their best effort on the season.
Sometimes teams make an inordinate amount of shots and you lose.
We managed to pull through in spite of it.
Career-high 38 minutes for Fitz. I wonder if Geno's leaning
toward Snoddy being an 18-20 minute guy now and we'll see more
of Fitz regularly. TO's been marginalized a bit, but I like the
energy he's given us off the bench. I thought he was good today.
I just checked Army's season stats. They're shooting 53.7% from
the free throw line. Horrible.
Don't look now, but we're up to 37.2% from three on the season,
easily in the top 100 nationally. Really encouraging.

it is. we take better shots this year. because we move the
ball and are more patient. note that i think this trend started
late last season, and ford deserves credit for that. of course
having better shooters (i argue we do) helps.
we're down to 24 attempts per game. we used to be in the 30
range regularly. that plus good rebounding and i think we are
improved.
we also only took 18 today- for me, that's a good #. and we
won.
