Looks like it really comes down to who is guarding Jamarii
Thomas and who will take the ball up the court. Thomas has had 3
steals or more the last 5 games :o. Starting to worry AC may not
be back until conference play. Geno said in the Bryant presser
he has yet to return to practice.

Factoid: We haven't been this high in the KenPom ratings since
our last game in the America East to close out the 2021-22
season – we were 257 then. Our rating hasn't been in the 100s
since December of that season when we were 188 going into the
notorious Wagner game.

That season is one of the biggest what ifs. Pre postseason ban.
Beating Norfolk would be a huge win.

I wasn't aware that Norfolk State was doing that well this year
(or recently, in general). The home loss was horrific and one of
the worst games of the Boals era, but I did recall taking care
of them pretty handily every other time we've played them.

For what it's worth, our plus/minus through nine games:
Regulars:
Maidoh 5
TSM 2
TO -9
Noll -15
JFrey -19
Fitz -21
Clarke -41
Snoddy -68
Reserves:
Frederick 12
Muratori 3
Nahar 2
Space -2
PFrey -6
Philip -12
Big outputs in the last two games helped Maidoh and TSM get into
the positive. Clarke and Snoddy, on the other hand, were not
able to benefit from the lighter matchups of late. There was a
notable disparity in those first three games though, when Maidoh
was -23, TSM -25 (in 2 games), Clarke -44 and Snoddy -56. A lot
of ground to make up.
Also of note, we're trailing 244-148 in paint points this
season, having been outscored there in every single game. It's
not surprising, with our guards being our strength offensively.

norfolk is good this year, quick and athletic. good game.
o-boards looking solid so far. nice to have maidoh/fitz out
there together.
