That Fitz three was the epitome of our offense. Frey's standing
literally right next to him. Clarke's 30 feet out at the top of
the key. Maidoh's underneath by himself.
We've had two or three turnovers that have led to fast break
opportunities, and Frey's trailed the play and been open on the
wing, but instead we force up contested shots.

I've been really frustrated by the team, but also I'm also kind
of optimistic about what the team might look like come
conference play

Look better than last year but a lot of the same issues persist.
Another year in the 300s on kenpom, I fear.

It's just so hard to maintain momentum in a game with the shot
selection and lack of play running. We got two massive threes to
fall from Noll and Frey (the range on that was impressive,
finally we saw it), and it was a 7-point game at that point, but
we did not capitalize any further because we just kept banking
on them too much. We were not working it inside at all.
Maidoh had a great game with 9 and 8, though. It's a shame how
inconsistent everybody else has been.

I know the 5-out is a thing, but there's no motion! And with TSM
on the shelf, we're especially short on shooters.
We had six assists tonight, and none in the last 12-14 minutes.
Right now we're down 55-24 in assists in the first three D-I
games.
Randomly selecting CAA teams ...
A&T 33 assists on 61 FGs (3 games)
Campbell 27 on 54 FGs (3)
Hofstra 28 on 50 FGs (2)
Charleston 26 on 48 FGs (2)
Hampton 20 on 50 FGs (2)
SB 24 on 76 FGs (3)

And the losing will only continue because they are keeping Shawn
Heilbron on. Full success can only be attributed if this
President, who clearly does not care about sports whatsoever
cleans house.

We’ll see if the Ford situation starts to turn into another
Priore situation. It’s starting to trend that way.
