Weaver seemed really nice but the pass defense this year was
awful. The Maine game was one of the worst defensive
performances against the pass I have seen. Wish him well in the
future though- this team needs a true rebuild top to bottom on
       offense and defense.

I'm with you on this!!! Hatch is the biggest fraud there is. He
lies to all the recruits about what they are to receive and
experience when they get to the school. Only to be met at the
Stonybrook penitentiary by grim dorms and food and broken dreams
       lol

I doubt anyone from the current staff will be or is worth
retaining. Maybe Dresner, because it does sound like he was
handicapped a lot by Chuck overriding his decisions.

How did he even know the calls at any games to make changes in
play calls when he was never listening in with a headset. Not
like they scream in the play from the sidelines.

Heard that SH hired an outside firm to help in the search for a
new coach? Is that true? Good move? Or another sign of a week
       inept AD?

Every school does it, as well as the pro's. They did it when
Boals left and still went with Geno Ford. On the flip side, they
did it when McCombs left and that hire actually worked out well
       for SBU.

Can SH call for an outside firm to help replace him and the
       remaining staff under him?🥴

Just heard the news that he ain't coming back today. THANK THE
       LORDY!!!
Would Hemphill come back to take the job now?? I think that ship
has probably sailed but regardless I think we should take the
opportunity to completely reinvent this program and go in a
different direction. No more of this 1950s Green Bay offense
type shit where it's just ground and pound every play. Get
someone who can recruit and who will implement a pass happy
offense with an athletic quarterback. We've definitely got the
coin to get someone good. I finally have a reason to be EXCITED
about SBU football in 2024 for the first time in 5+ years

We should look at HC’s who have had success in the FCS such as
Holy Cross because they are a high academic school like us and
yet year in and out they win.
