Campi- thanks for the insider info! Excited for the next week
Jackson would be interesting- this is a guy who probably gets
Long Island. Definitely has strong tri-state connections. Power
5 coordinator was my dream but a Power 5 position coach may be a
       more realistic target.
Don’t know why we would hold him moving schools against him-
he’s moving up the ladder from graduate assistant to line coach
at successfully larger institutions. That to me is a sign of
       motivation and growth.

I’m just sharing what the rumor mill is saying I’ll probably
hear more rumors on Wednesday at the Nassau County Dinner
One other thing that I heard is the final two candidates have to
address the players on December 11 and after that the final
decision will be made I have no idea if that’s true but that’s
       what I heard

       all good news, thanks.
anecdotal- but assistants (young in particular) moving farily
often is common. maybe its just the profiles im used to
       reading.

Jackson is the best you can expect to come to this program. the
word is out and with not a lot of support from administration
       its not a good job.

He's been a purported finalist for JMU and SU, or said
otherwise, a top 25 and P5 FBS school, he will not be making the
       "jump" from HC to SBU

I honestly hope this university hires a coach minded first guy
and not about what the university wants in a coach. And we all
know what that is today with these WOKE universities. This
school needs to go back to its bread and butter, and hire
somebody who can recruit and has experience as a HC, or FBS
       coordinator!!

Isn't that who I said was going to get the job? A 2-year trial
run until P's contract ends. Who do you want it to be?

With Chesney off to JMU I want Nunzio Campanile an assistant at
Syracuse and the best recruiter in the state of New Jersey and
has the ability to develop talent

He was good at Rutgers, and would be a good one for SB. But I
read somewhere that he signed to stay on for 2024 and will be
coaching them in the bowl game.
