I don’t know who the new HC will be but whoever gets the job is
going to have to replace a lot of starters just based on players
leaving via the transfer portal already so SH had better make a
decision soon

Didn't know we had a kid win that!! I always forget someone
actually wins those tuition giveaways. Good for him!! Definitely
get him a tryout.

Some one on here thought that bob chesney would be a choice for
SB football well reality is he's being sniffed by jmu this
passed wknd.

I thought Chesney would be a good fit for this program and the
fact that JMU is interested in him shows that I’m not only one
that likes him.
I’ve been seeing everyone’s comment about who SBU will hire but
whoever gets the job should have a good resume so I’m not
concerned about players not wanting to come here. A good coach
should be able to draw talent and hopefully win especially if
he’s done it already

This program will never improve if they hire in-house. It will
be the same 3 and out. Everyone says Priore over ruled every
offensive call, I'm not doubting he may have on some but he
didn't even have a headset to listen in and was always
meandering around holding his chin.

I was at the Suffolk County All County Dinner last night and is
usually a good place to hear rumors. One rumor that circulated
was that on December 11 SBU will have the two finalists in for
their last interview and then make a decision shortly after. One
name that I’m hearing about is Andrew Jackson who I believed
played for Coach Collins at CW Post than was a grad assistant at
SBU and is currently coaching at West Virginia University

Jackson has bounced around to 8 different schools since 2013.
For me, that is a bad sign, but I’m sure SH will give him a 7
year, 500,000 a year contract anyways. Immediately..
