I bet we'll have a new coach by December 8th. Then he'll have 2
weeks on campus to try to sell the roster on staying and 2 weeks
to recruit before the fall signing period

By not cleaning house and only hiring a HC who is handcuffed to
do whatever SH wants this coach to do, could possibly be just a
waste of time and money. Time will tell. But I don’t see much of
an improvement going with a new coach… Now don’t get me wrong.
As all of you are aware. I have been pounding my fist on the
table for a decade now to fire P. Even if they bring in a high
school coach, he’d do a better job than P. But, if you want to
turn around this football program, and be a competitor in the
CAA, then SH and company need to go as well. But, it is quite
obvious, that is not happening. Not with this President, who
could care less about sport..

From what I can tell the only one guaranteed to come back is
Hatch because he’s in administration and he’s the union
representative. As far as the other coaches go they are still
here until the new coach is hired and then he will make a
decision on who stays and who goes.

Sadly, the one who should have been holding Chuck's bags after
he was fired, will still be employed by SBU.

As long as Hachmann (d-coordinator) is gone, everyone else can
remain. As far as I'm concerned, he was just as bad, and
worthless, as anyone else.

The assistants are probably paid through the end of the academic
year in May. If they are being smart they are looking for jobs
because a new coach should bring in his own people or hire them.
Heilbron should go. hes the problem.

Whoever gets the job will probably bring a couple of assistants
with him in addition may keep a couple from the current staff.
In January the NCAA Conference takes and usually connections are
made so that’s where the remainder of the staff will probably
come from.
