This woke talk that clusters every thread and w
is exhausting. SB football was bad because of a bad coach.
Basketball has struggled because of lack of talent in recent
years.
I doubt Priore was up there preaching about LGBT rights.

It's not that far off if you look at what theyve been doing. No
American flag at commencement a couple years ago until they got
called out. A crazy halftime show this year that was embarasing
if you had kids at the game. There is a box the new coach will
need to check off for heilbron and it will probably be the first
criteria. thats the world we live in today.
As of now it doesnt matter who transfers out as most recruits
the last few years had no other offers or maybe one other. What
will be important is who transfers in once a new coach is hired.
As Campi said im not excited about the names ive heard so far
and it looks like Hatch will be sticking around somehow in the
department. waste of $

[EDITED BY MODERATORS]This university has gone down hill
athletically since they adopted the WOKE mind set. To believe
anything else just tells me people are living in a bubble. If
you need examples, just ask me!!
If you think this issue doesn’t affect the recruiting pool of
highly athletic kids, again. You are drinking the SBU kool Aide.

I think the interim head coach (Dressner) will be named coach.
SB doesn't have the $$$ to pay another head coach while P is
still on payroll. And by keeping Dressner, who is also the
offensive coordinator, you kill 2 birds with 1 stone. I say he
gets a 2 year deal and then the "real" search will begin. Could
be totally wrong, but that's my guess.

Makes sense, but SBU is paying for a national search now. That
cost money to do also

I absolutely agree. The political talk is completely irrelevant
and the talking points posters take issue with are being shared
every major university.

every major university.

Except for schools like JMU, SHS, South Carolina and many other
Universities that are thriving athletically. Many on this forum
really need to open their eyes and look around

Please, these schools don’t ram it down people’s throat. Look
how all the Ivy leagues schools are losing endowment money. Why
is that?? It’s because of politics and their woke ideology. SBU
is falling into that same trap. Prove me wrong
